RES-0001-2018: Support Courts for Conflict Resolution

Whereas the UIP under its Platform, Economy & Regulations: Spending & Regulations plank recognizes the gradual end to unconstitutional agencies, and

Whereas the UIP recognizes that conflicts between people will still need to be resolved because of actions these agencies were to regulate;

The UIP encourages the people to utilize the justice system for necessary resolutions to resolve conflicts that may arise.

RES-0002-2018: Environmental Support

Whereas the UIP under its Platform, Economy & Regulations: Regulatory Agencies plank recognizes the gradual end to unneeded activities, and

Whereas the UIP recognizes that clean air and water are imperative for the people to live healthier lives;

The UIP favors removal of unnecessary federal regulatory barriers to innovation and free market solutions for the management of a cleaner future through all sources of energy;

We furthermore encourage the people to take an active role in recycling and using cleaner alternative energy sources when available.

RES-0003-2018: Education

Whereas the UIP under its Platform, Economy & Regulations: Regulatory Agencies plank recognizes the gradual end to unneeded, damaging and expensive federal agencies;

Whereas the UIP recognizes that education is a crucial requirement for our people to be successful, both locally and on the world stage, and;

Whereas the UIP sees government managed accreditation as responsible for the creation of a monopoly in the education space, resulting in rapidly increasing cost and unmanageable student debt as well as  limited access to quality affordable education;

The UIP does not believe that curriculum or regulation of education should be controlled by an entity of the federal government as every area is unique in the needs of their local environments,

We support creative methods of education that satisfy the wants and needs of the people, while preparing children to be successful,

We furthermore support parent and teacher involvement in shaping the curricula for their children and students.

 

RES-0004-2018: Social Security & Medicare

Whereas the UIP under its Platform, Economy & Regulations: Regulatory Agencies plank recognizes the gradual end to unneeded activities, and

Whereas the UIP under its Platform, Economy & Regulations: Earned Benefits plank recognizes the duty to pay debts;

The UIP supports the ability of people to opt out of Social Security retirement and choose a private retirement plan if they so choose;

We furthermore charge the government to manage the funds in Earned Benefits Accounts appropriately and to not move funds away from these accounts to help balance the general budget.

RES-0005-2018: Ballot Initiatives

Whereas the UIP under its Platform, Government & the Constitution: Elections plank recognizes the need of the voice of the voters to be heard,

The UIP favors the use of ballot initiatives by the people of the states;

We furthermore will work with ballot initiatives that would advance the goals of the Party and its Platform.

 

 RES-0006-2018: Government Accountability

Whereas the UIP under its Platform, Justice Reform: Criminal Reform plank recognizes crimes are only committed where a person has been intentionally victimized, and

Whereas the UIP recognizes that the government and elected officials can intentionally victimize;

The UIP demands that these officials and governments be held to the same punishments that they impose on the general public.
